Hello, I am new here, but not new to Tmj pain. I have just started treatment for Tmj, i've had 2 sessions of Physical Therapy. This all started about 2 years ago which was misdiagnosed as sinus problems. At first it was just daily headaches that were controlled with sinus medication so i thought nothing of it and that it would go away eventually. Just this year i was starting to have awful headaches, blurred vision, dizziness, pain in above eyes, over nose, behind eyes, always tired, strained neck muscles, stiff neck...jaw clicking. Went to my family doctor, eye doctor, went to the ER for a cat scan, everything seemed fine but i still had these terrible symptoms. Then i made an appointment to a neuromuscular dentist who said it definitely sounds like TMJ. So its been 2 weeks of therapy, i am noticing some changes. I am currently unemployed, it would be almost impossible for me to work right now like this...hoping that this physical therapy helps!
Would anyone like to share their stories or experiences with physio??
