Default Am I getting a migraine or a muscle headache?

Today I felt great after PT, and 30 mins after I had a meeting with my boss. I was talking, smiling, discussing things in an animated manner. Then, I started getting a pain in my jaw, which distracted me. Then I started worrying about it. I was having a hard time following what my boss was saying. I started getting weird visuals (overlays of the thing I had just looked at onto the next thing I looked at) and parts of his face started looking larger than others--not really, but that is the best way I can describe it. I started having trouble thinking and participating in the conversation, and had to ask him to say things over again. My ear ringing got louder too.

I'm not sure if stressing about my jaw is causing tension headaches, or if maybe I just got a migraine because of the lights in his office, which are a lot brighter than the ones in my office. It is quite a few hours later, and I am still seeing the overlay pattern. My whole head hurts and my cheeks hurt too.

This type of headache actually happens a lot when I go to meetings or talk to someone. It is rare I can have a conversation without being in some kind of headache pain.

Maybe I am getting a migraine from the lights + a tension headache at the same time from tightening my jaw muscles or just from talking a certain length of time?

I read the other posting here about the different phases of a migraine, and it does seem like a migraine onset to me. I am wondering if I should ask my doctor about migraine medication to see if that helps at all. My TMJ dentist seems to think I have mostly muscle/tension headaches from my jaw and neck.
